Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

IMG_0680

I’ve traveled far, but the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi has captured my heart. It’s all about perfection from the inside out, after all. This magnificent mosque is one of the world’s largest, with 82 domes and four minarets with a seating capacity of over 41000 people. If you ever consider yourself in the United Arab Emirates, I would definitely recommend this location because it is all about the experience. The entrance is free, but tourists should check the times because it may be crowded during the prayers.

Some visitors like to visit the site during the day, but remember to bring your shades because the reflected lights from the gleaming white marbles might be unpleasant on your eyes.

I’m more of an evening guy, therefore I went to the mosque in the evening instead of waiting for the sunset. I was late because public transportation in Abu Dhabi is unreliable, but taxis are inexpensive. It costs roughly $12 to go one way in the United States.

I’ve taken a couple photos with my iPhone 6s so I’d like to share with you. Well that’s me finally!
